Who are we?
The Lexilife adventure begins with the development of a revolutionary lamp, Lexilight, capable of making reading easier for millions of dyslexics. After 20 years of French research, finalizing a prototype and testing it, the result is clear: 90% of dyslexics say they effortlessly read a text illuminated by the lamp.
Jean-Baptiste Fontes, founder of Lexilife, decided to share it with as many people as possible. Manufacturing costs and selling prices are still high, but the more it is known and adopted, the more accessible it will be. Surrounded by Thomas Zuber for his scientific expertise and Paola Bourdon for his marketing skills, Jean-Baptiste launched into the deployment of the lamp.
Soon, the team faced several obstacles related to the lack of knowledge of dyslexia by the entire society - individuals and institutions alike. The team, concerned about this disorder both professionally and personally, sees it as a cause to be defended. Indeed, 8 to 10% of the population must live with an unknown disorder, sometimes denied, sometimes mocked... often hidden.
Lexilife will therefore be a committed company that, not only with the Lexilight lamp, but also through many actions (Research and Development, institutional awareness, etc.) will work to improve the lives of dyslexics.Read our manifesto
